Triple Decker Sandwiches

Who says a sandwich has to be 2 slices of the same bread. Why not mix and match and create a sandwich that is as unique as you are.

If a whole sandwich is too much for you, split it with a friend, or keep half for after school. For lunch add some soup in a thermos, a yogurt tube and a bottle of water.

Ingredients/Directions

Mix and match 3 different types of breads. Try pumpernickel, rye, flax, multigrain, whole wheat, or egg bread.

Now it's time to select a bread spread. Try ranch dressing, hummus, honey mustard, BBQ sauce or a light mayonnaise.

Get ready for fillin'. Here are a couple of options for you:

  1. Two slices of ham, turkey, roast beef or pastrami. You can also add a slice of your favourite cheese.
  2. Egg salad (mash up a boiled egg and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise)

You can also add any vegetables that you really like. Try sliced peppers, grated carrots, leftover grilled vegetables, or lettuce.

Serves 1-2
